With the 9th HUMAN FORUM Banska Bystrica again becomes the center of human rights and democracy discourse in Slovakia

This year’s Human Forum welcomed more than 200 guests, including the the president of the Slovak republic Zuzana Čaputová, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Rastislav Káčer, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya, and many more.

This year’s HUMAN FORUM was in many ways special, as for the first time we joined forces with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, and together with our wonderful team and partners, led by two of our amazing directors Csilla Droppova and Róbert Vancel, we jointly succeeded in welcoming more than 200 guests from the civil society, government sector, research & education as well as the general public for a three-day event packed with discussions, workshops, trainings and so much more. We are also more than honoured that this year’s keynote speeches during the official conference section of HUMAN FORUM were delivered by non-other than the president of the Slovak republic Zuzana Čaputová, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Rastislav Káčer, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya, and the Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Vera Jourova.
