MEKHALA JAMBHOLKAR
Mekhala is a graduate student in the Erasmus Mundus IMSISS program, specializing in the ‘Security and Technology’ pathway. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in history, philosophy, and literature, with a research focus on refugee communities in India, citizenship laws, and post-conflict reconstruction. Her current research interests lie in exploring the socio-technical landscape of an increasingly radicalized world. Mekhala aims to specialize in digital governance, disinformation, regulation, and security particularly in generative AI through an intersectional lens. In her free time, she enjoys singing and long walks.
