They are being tested by complex and interconnected challenges that weaken them over time. Such challenges cannot be understood \u2013 or solved \u2013 in isolation. The Resilient Democracy Colloquium (RDC) \u2013 a colloquium\u00a0series hosted at IfD \u2013 brings together scholars from political science, economics, law, philosophy, sociology and other fields to share their work-in-progress and think across disciplines about how societies build and sustain resilient democracies.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><b>How to present<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p>The RDC is open to the wider IfD community, including PhD students, faculty, researchers, fellows, visiting fellows. We are also open to external presenters\/audience under petition. We welcome work-in-progress. Speakers are asked to provide a draft version of their paper or pre-registraction protocol or an abstract in advance, so participants can read it ahead of the session. Each session features a 10-minute presentation, followed by remarks by a discussant and then an open discussion.<\/p>\r\n<p>Those who wish to attend without presenting are welcome. The seminar series is a space to listen, exchange ideas, and think together \u2013 whether or not you are a speaker.
